Beginning with the 2021- 2022 school year, Goldsboro Elementary Magnet School will adopt a Uniform Dress Policy for all of our students. We have chosen to adopt this School Uniform Policy based on parent feedback, to help create a sense of community and encourage pride in our magnet school. This policy was developed by parents and school staff under the guidelines of the Seminole County Public Schools Dress Code Policy to support this goal.

For everyday classroom dress, here are the options students have:

  • Color Choices: Navy, Light Blue, Black, Gray or White

  • Types: Collared shirts, blouses, plain t-shirts, Goldsboro Logo shirts (long or short sleeve), dresses

  • Color Choices: Navy, Black, Gray, or Khaki

  • Types: Shorts, pants, skirts, jumpers, skorts, or capris

  • Bottoms should fit properly and be no shorter than mid- thigh

  • No jeans or tight fit shorts or pants

  • All shoes must be enclosed all around the heel, toes, and sides.

  • All shoes worn to school must be appropriate for physical education and recess.

Where Can I Find Uniform Clothes At?

Clothing meeting the standardized dress code requirements can come from your closet, garage sales, or your favorite store or catalog.  Many stores like Wal-Mart, Target, J.C. Penny‚Äôs, Ross, and Old Navy have reasonably priced items that fit the dress code.  Goldsboro logo shirts are NOT required but are encouraged to show school spirit.

You can also buy Goldsboro Logo Appeal at https://www.companycasuals.com/GoldsboroMagnet

The standardized dress code will be enforced each day. There will be special days during the school year which are N.U.T. (No Uniform Today) days where students can dress accordingly.

Thank you for your continued support of Goldsboro Elementary Magnet School. If you have any questions, please call us at 407-320-5850.
