Magnet School Enrollment Information

All elementary students residing in Seminole County are eligible to apply to an elementary magnet school.  Assignment is by application only.  Students are assigned based on seat availability through a random selection process.  There is a sibling link for students to attend the same school that his/her sibling currently attends.  The new student is required to submit an application during application period which runs from January 1, 2018 to March 1, 2018. 

Goldsboro Elementary Magnet School is offering tours every Tuesday at 1:30 pm and Thursday at 9:30 am.  We are also hosting an evening event on February 13th at 6:00 pm.

Families who are interested in having their child attend a magnet school beginning in August 2018 should apply online during the ON TIME APPLICATION PERIOD!  For more information please contact the Choices Department:

Magnet Curriculum

 Goldsboro offers all students the unique opportunity to experience each of our specialized Math, Bioscience, Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science and the Kids Space Center labs throughout the year.  STEM lab specialist collaborate and work closely with classroom teachers to provide enriching activities that reinforce and enhance concepts taught in the regular classroom.
